Do I need to bring any rowing equipment?

All Life Jackets, Oars,paddles and boats are provided, so just bring yourselves and plenty of enthusiasm for competing or merely cheering friends and Loved Ones on.

Are there toilets onsite?

Yes, there are toilets onsite for the duration of the Regatta.

What time do races begin?

The Race Schedule typically starts from 12pm onwards, but you can get onto site from 10am onwards, using the River Taxi, which you can hop on from Reading Blue Coat Boat House.

Do I need cash?

Yes. All of the food & drink, entertainment, plus Parking and On the Door Entrance fees are cash only.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are welcome, but need to be on a lead at all times.

Where can I park?

We have very limited parking spaces on the Regatta Site, at a cost of £10 cash per vehicle, which is accessed via Reading Sailing Club in Sonning Eye. Alternatively there is parking along Sonning Lane, between Reading Blue Coat School Entrance, and the main village of Sonning.

Can I bring a Picnic?

People can bring their own picnics to site, but there is alot on offer in terms of food and drinks, which are run by a local school, PTA, our local Cub/Scout Society and the bar in run by our Committee Members. If you do bring your own Picnic, please remember  to take all of your rubbish with you.
